Call for Members
The PSTS is open for membership applications. Qualified candidates must be a board certified surgeon in his specialty (e.g. general surgery, urology, etc) duly recognized by the PCS; he must have trained in organ transplantation in an accredited institution (whether local or international); he must be active in the field of organ transplantation; and finally, he must be of good moral character.

ARTICLE V
MEMBERS

Section 1. Qualifications for Membership -
​
a. An applicant for membership must 1) be a certified graduate of at least 2 years of formal fellowship in a recognized transplant program 2) be board eligible in his/her surgical specialty 3) satisfy other requirements deemed necessary by the Board of Examiners.
​
b. He/she must pass the certifying written and oral examinations that shall be conducted by the Board of Examiners of the Society.
​
c. The certifying examinations shall be held biennially or in any frequency as may be deemed proper by the Board of Examiners.
​
d. The Board of Examiners shall be composed of a Chairperson and at least two (2) other members appointed by the President.
